• Spheroidal Graphite (SG) Iron Body: Unlike standard “Grey Iron” vices that can be brittle, our SG Iron (Ductile Iron) construction offers a much higher tensile strength and elongation. This means the vice can absorb heavy hammer blows and extreme clamping pressure without cracking.
• Unique Offset Geometry: The jaw is strategically offset from the slide and screw mechanism. This allows you to clamp long, vertical items—like pipes, rods, or threaded bars—directly to the side of the vice body without hitting the workbench or the vice’s internal screw.
